Google has integrated its Gemini AI model across all of its Workspace applications โ Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet. For users already working in Google's ecosystem, these features are accessible without switching to a separate tool.
Gmail AI Features
Smart Compose predicts and completes sentences as you type, reducing the time spent on routine messages. Beyond that, Gemini can generate full email drafts from a brief description and summarize long threads so you understand a conversation without reading every reply.
Google Docs
Use Gemini to generate a full document draft from a prompt, brainstorm outlines and ideas, or summarize lengthy documents into a condensed version. The "Help me write" feature is accessible directly from the document editor.
Google Sheets
Gemini can write complex formulas from natural language descriptions โ no syntax knowledge required. It can also analyze data, identify patterns, and explain what the numbers in a spreadsheet mean in plain English.
Google Meet
Automatically generated meeting notes, noise cancellation, and live captions with translation support are all available in Google Meet. Notes are saved to Google Docs automatically and shared with participants after the call.
Google Workspace AI is available on Business Standard, Business Plus, and Enterprise plans. Individual users can also access Gemini at gemini.google.com for free with a Google account.
